I’ve created another Vista Sidebar gadget, this time to track all your XBox friends using there Gamercards
There are a few gadgets already out there but they did meet my requirements, so I quickly put one together, using the same principles I used for the World of Warcraft gadget (HTTPXMLRequest aka Ajax, Regular Exprssions, DHTML manipulation all in Javascript).
The gadget allows you to display the gamer pictures of any number of friends (within reason) in your Vista Sidebar. Clicking on a picture will pop-up that friends current Gamercard (Which then links back to the XBox.com site)
You can also select the size of the picture, which makes really configurable.

Since the intial release I have shipped 2 updates with new and enhanced features.
The gadget now will sort your friends list in descending order of gamer score.
